This successful transport business has experienced a 600% growth over the last 10 years and has expanded from the initial base in Carlisle to locations in London, Yorkshire, West Midlands and the North East

Because of the enviable reputation for delivering a first-class service and an innovative approach to achieving customer solutions we have, the success from this has led us to the recruit for the position of an LGV 1 Brick Crane Operator. This involves a Monday to Friday, with 4 nights out, shift pattern. Start times can vary but can be as early as 03:00/04:00. 


Duties include, but are not limited to:

·         Deliveries to building sites, building merchants, farms etc

·         Operate an Atlas lorry loader (rear mounted or roller) 

·         Liaise with site manager regarding ETAs and problem solving

·         Maintain the tidiness of the vehicle, kit and yourself

·         Working away, for a minimum of 4 nights out

·         Remain conscientious when driving and in front of the end users 

Key Experience and Qualifications:

·         C+E Entitlement

·         An up to date CPC and DIGI card

·         A strong understanding of the legal requirements regarding Driving Hours and Working Time

·         An in date Allmi card with a C5 or F5 category (Brick grab attachment) is preferable but not essential

·         Previous experience in delivering to building sites is beneficial, but not essential.

The Ideal candidate will have:

·         A minimum of 2 years’ C+E Driving experience

·         No more than 6 points

·         Willing to ‘go the extra mile’

·         Be a good communicator

·         Be able to show ownership of tasks

The vehicle will be based in our Colsterworth depot.
